A man in a suit and white shirt sitting at a desk, looking down and writing on a large sheet of paper with a pen. There is a smartphone on the desk. The setting appears to be an office with plain walls and a window behind him.

Enrico Taranta

Design Leader | Real Estate Strategist | Industrialized Architecture & MMC Specialist

Architect and design leader with over 20 years of international experience across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, specializing in large-scale, complex real estate developments driven by Modern Methods of Construction (MMC), Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA), and modular systems.

My work focuses on supporting developers, investors, and construction companies in the creation of high-performance real estate assets—from luxury residential and hospitality to multi-building and high-density developments—where design, engineering, and construction are fully integrated from the outset.

I approach each project as a scalable architectural system, aligning design vision with industrialized construction logic to enable faster delivery, cost control, and precision at scale.

Throughout my career, I have designed and led over 100 high-end architectural and interior projects, including private residences, hotels, clubs, and branded environments, collaborating with international brands such as W Hotels and Bottega Veneta.

In 2025–2026, I directed the architecture and interiors of a robotic-construction luxury villa development near Lake Como (approx. 1000 sqm), overseeing the full process from concept to delivery.
As part of the development, I supervised the realization of a fully completed 150 sqm prototype villa, validating the integration between design, off-site production, and on-site assembly.

Previously Design Director of Taranta Creations Shanghai (2010–2024), I led a team of 20 designers and architects, delivering international projects with development values up to $200M.

Today, my work is centered on industrialized architecture, combining advanced design leadership with DfMA-driven methodologies, prefabrication strategies, and modular construction systems.
This approach transforms architecture into a predictable, efficient, and scalable process, significantly improving delivery speed, construction quality, and investment performance.

I collaborate with developers, contractors, and manufacturing partners to structure projects from concept to execution, ensuring alignment between design intent, production logic, and construction delivery.

My work has been published in Dezeen, ArchDaily, and Designboom, and I regularly contribute to international discussions on innovation in architecture, industrialized construction, and real estate development.
